Debt Help & Advice - Financial Management Plans
What is financial management and how does it help me?
Financial management enables you to consolidate your credit commitments into one
lower and affordable monthly payment. This amount is then paid to the debt management
company who in turn distributes the payment between your credit companies. This
allows you to manage essential bills such as your mortgage, rent, council tax and
other living costs, more easily.
By turning your repayments into one single monthly payment it will allow you to
regain control of your finances again. We will then negotiate with your creditors
on your behalf to arrange an acceptable level of repayment based around your affordability.
Your creditors will be contacted upon commencement of your Debt Management program
in an effort to freeze or reduce the interest on your accounts; allowing your money
to be used purely to pay off your outstanding balance.
In choosing a Financial Management program with Valour Financial Management our
expertly trained team will strive to rebuild your payment history and ultimately
reintroduce you as a healthy borrower. Over the years we have strived to maintain
our already well established relationships with your creditors and in doing so can
arrange suitable and acceptable arrangements for you to repay your outstanding debt
at a lower rate that's right for you
Your dedicated Client Finance Manager will be there at every step of the way to
liaise between you and your creditors to give you peace of mind that your finances
are being managed professionally.
At Valour we know that in many cases some people just need a hand to get back on
their feet, while others require guidance to repay their total outstanding debt.
If you're experiencing financial hardship or fall into any of these categories,
we are here to help; you can rest assured that your finances are in good hands!
Entering onto a Financial Management plan can adversely affect your credit rating
in the short to medium term. Valour Financial Management cannot guarantee that
all creditors will accept the proposed plan and that they will freeze interest and
late charges, however Valour Financial Management does have excellent
relationships with creditors and has one of the highest acceptance rates of DMP’s
in the industry. The time taken to pay your indebtedness may increase if you are
paying a smaller repayment and there is a possibility of an increase in the total sum
being repaid. Any delay in payments to creditors such as retention of an initial fee will
cause you to go further in arrears until the plan is accepted and interest and late payments
are frozen.
